Growing Science Project
We were delighted to welcome Dr Diane Lees-Murdock from Ulster University to begin our series of experiments investigating the fascinating world of seeds, plants and flowers in a project supported by the Royal Society, London. The Royal Society is the oldest scientific institute in the world dating back to the 1660s, when it was granted its royal charter by Charles ll. Fellows of the Royal Society have included Sir Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking, as well as more recently, Professor Brian Cox and entrepreneur Elon Musk. We are excited to be carrying out this project with the assistance of the Royal Society whose aim is to promote excellence in science. Our children are the thinkers and scientists of tomorrow!
