As part of British Science Week we had Science Day. Some people brought in experiments for us to participate in and we did our own frozen chick experiment where the children froze two chicks in a filled balloon and had to predict and investigate the best way to melt the ice. We had some fantastic predictions such as fire 🔥 and boiling water 💦 but we used warm water, salt, scissors, a saw, a knife and spoons to eventually release the chicks.
