Primary 3’s topic this term is Hot and Cold Lands.
We discussed what we already knew about Hot and Cold Lands and asked some great questions we wanted to find out the answers to! We got started straight away, finding out why some countries are hot and others are cold by learning about the equator (we’re a clever bunch in primary 3).
We have been enjoying lots of activity based learning where we have had the opportunity to find out more about our favourite animals from hot/cold places and prepare to travel by creating our own passports!
Our topic came to life when it snowed! We had lots of fun experiencing the cold snow and got warmed up with some hot chocolate.
