P5 Trip to the Ulster Museum

1st Jun 2024
Primary 5 enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Ulster Museum this week. As part of our WAU topic 'Prove it!', P5 have been learning about the first settlers at Mountsandel in the Mesolithic and Neolithic times. On our trip we were able to explore the artefacts on display in the 'Life in Early Ireland' section, as well as learning about Egyptian mummification. We also took part in a fantastic nature workshop entitled 'Whose skull is it anyway?'. P5 pupils also explored dinosaur bones, items from WW2 and rocks from the moon. A trip to the Ulster Museum really is a wonderful day out!
